Ace Atkins was tapped by the family/estate to continue the Spenser series, and he succeeds fairly well. He captures the right voices in the right way. I thought that a little editing would have made it move faster and then the pace would crackle as much as the dialogue. Ace Atkins has taken on this task with `Lullaby,' a direct continuation of Spenser's adventures. Mildly disappointing posthumous Parker pastiche.
