My room setup requires a lens shift function which this projector has, so made my job easier with installing the unit to the ceiling. After reading a lot of reviews I gave this one a chance, and I can't be more happy. Internal speakers on projectors normally aren't great but this one is the best one I have ever used. Very bright. for a fraction of the cost, purchase this truly unique and outstanding projector. It delivers noticeably darker blacks, higher contrast, and a better sense of three dimensionality with 2D images than those eight models in the $499 to $650 price range.

Will definitely buy again if it ever fails. While on paper the specs on throw distance, lens and zoom ratio appear to be exactly the same, in reality the throw distance was not the same as my old HT1075 at all. I use it everyday. What I found in my research is that BenQ makes some of the best DLP projectors - made to fit most rooms and distances while producing some of the best images on the market. I have done a lot of research and ended with 3 products (Benq2050A, Optoma HD-143x and LG PF1500w) but finally went with this product which I dont regret.
